Under the Eaves, Ravenswood Manor, Chicago

The second floor half bath serving two bedrooms in this Arts and Crafts bungalow was tucked underneath the roof making a very unique space. Borrowing space from each of the adjoining bathrooms, the bathroom was expanded to include a shower with body sprays.

The polished nickel Kohler faucets have a deep, warm patina. The Kohler undermount sink shines with the granite countertop

The new door matches the existing doors. Attention to detail ensured that the brass escutcheon on the glass door knob matched the existing doors on the exterior while the escutcheon on the inside is polished nickel to match the bath fixtures.

The wood trim was milled to match the existing trim.

The radiant floor heating system with programmable thermostat keeps the floor and space warm during the winter season. Additional insulation was added to the attic to better conserve energy.
